Here's to moment's that are stolen,
for stealing, you know, is wrong.
But, after those moments are stolen,
to whom do they 'really' belong?
Surely, they belong to us.
If I had a bushel of apples,
And left them there to rot;
And, you came by and ate one,
could I blame you? Certainly not!
For, apples are meant to be eaten,
And moments are for delight!
At least, that is what we'll tell our
consciences,
When they keep us awake tonight.
