I've been writing semi-pro since the 1960s, most of my stories falling under the blanket heading of weird tales. However, I'd written nothing for 5-6 years because my wife was very ill and disabled and care for her was my priority. Some months after her death in December 2013 I decided to get back to writing but had no ideas for my normal genre. Browsing the internet hoping to find inspiration, I stumbled across Literotica and immediately got a couple of ideas for stories way outside my usual style. It wasn't an easy transition but I'm pleased I discovered Literotica because it's given me an outlet for my writing without the hassle of editors, deadlines and the dreaded tax-man (I'm too old now to bother with all that crap).
