Your stories are fantastic and I honestly didn't think you could top the Runaway series...but you have.
I rarely enjoy sequels more than originals, but Kelsey is easily one of your most fully realized characters. She's flawed and broken and alive and absolutely fascinating. I'm close to several people in my life that have similar experiences and attitudes, unfortunately caused by some of the same sort of trauma, and you absolutely nailed it.

Well done. I laughed and I cried a little and thoroughly enjoyed it. I’m glad we got it all in one chunk and I was able to read i it without having to wait for the next part to be uploaded. Wish I could have given it more than the five stars as it was a wonderful story and a great revisit of some excellent characters.
well written, no doubt. I feel like I know all the characters. Trouble is, we all want happy endings, but knowing the characters as we might in real life, we know that it is a betrayal of real life. We read to escape and find succor, but some how the sense of betrayal remains.
Sweet!!! So what did old Mike have on the asshole? Have some evidence that he was a closet homosexual that snuck around to bath houses while condemning Gay people?

That was beautiful and I needed this today. The part where the kiddo realized that Santa "granted" her wish? I lost it and my heart exploded. PS: Sending good karma to all the Mikes of the world cause they are so very precious.

Another one knocked out of the park by MsCT, landing perfectly in the Bebop3 story arc. Her female characters are so wonderfully real that you can't help rooting for them and eventually crying along with them as well. A damn fine bit of writing.
I have now read all three stories of these people in Peublo, but this was the best one! Your character development really brings the reader into the story. Beautifully written. Considering I couldn't put it down, it was the perfect length!

Thank you for posting the entire story. I read from the “top stories” section and find it extremely annoying to see a “chapter 34” there then find the previous chapters are not the same category and/or rated considerably less. This type of posting, may add a completed series of which, I believe you would be ranked quite high.
Really happy to catch up with these characters again. This storyline was not unexpected, but it was very welcome. Thought that the regret/surrender cycle that was a little to much like Alex’s inner turmoil in “No Strings Attached”. All in all it was very well written and an enjoyable read like all of your stories. Hope this group of characters is resurrected again.

That was so good, almost too good.. Loved it all. If I could give more than 5* I would be giving it a lot more. I want more stories about these characters. More collaborations between Bebop3 and MsCherylTerra. Such a wonderful sweet story.
A real challenge would be for the authors to redeem Daniel, give us a story of him realizing what a truly terrible person he had become. Not sure it could be done but curious to see an attempt.

Absolutely brilliant. Kelsie is such a strong character, and perhaps my favorite of all the amazing people you have created in your stories. This story is so very special!
Be very, very proud of this one. It’s a masterpiece! Saying Kelsie’s life is turbulent, is a huge understatement. My wife describes her early childhood, as astonishingly similar to Baylee’s. Fortunately for Baylee, her mother is nothing like my MIL. Kelsie really IS a good and selfless mother.
Honestly, this story should be submitted to a holiday contest.
No cheesy comments from me. I absolutely loved this for so many reasons. Your characters are so well developed, I feel like I really got to know them. The length was excruciatingly worth every minute but by the time I got to the end I didn't want it to.
This collab with bebop (another of my favorites) is great and I hope to read more from this crew! (Okay, maybe a few cheesy comments...)

Their conversations are real and compelling; their motivations are believable and relatable. Thank you very much for what you do.

What drama! In my 77 years I have been lucky enough not to have experienced anything like what Kelsie, Jimmy, Em and Alex each suffered. I think you may have given me a case of survivor gilt. But seriously, this is a fine story and worthy of your 50th contribution here. 105 stars, one for each page.
Excellent story, great characters and realistic relationships. I also like that you posted it in its entirety. One minor thing that continued to ruminate around my mind afterwards was how quickly Mike dealt with Daniel straight after Kelsie tells her friends about him, without any clues other than Mike is a well-connected grumpy old man. Though Kelsie explains she's choosing ignorance, and fair enough given what she’s been through, it kept me wondering what went down behind the scenes. But that was a minor thing that didn't take my reading enjoyment away at all, because it’s a great story and gets another five stars :-)

So this whole Pueblo universe is pretty fucking awesome, littered with flawed and damaged characters who find their humanity in helping each other, unapologetically and with full fucking hearts. Fucking brilliant! Thank you. Almost makes me want to move to Pueblo . . . .
Followed you here from other writing realms, would have been happy for another great story in your usual style. But this was not that, this has taken the excellence of your writing and this collaborative series to a whole other level. The culmination of the Kelsie/Mike thread with the donation was so perfect in its simplicity and emotionally impactful. The grounded truth of your characters is amazing. Well, I think you've surpassed yourself this time. Took a little time to work out who the characters were but eventually they clicked. Kelsie was a truly amazing character, seemingly full of doubts and as curmudgeonly as Mike at times but so determined to do her very best for Baylee. Wonderfully told and a real blockbuster for a contest. Well done.
Great story but I loved the first one as well. Hopefully one day this will turn into a trilogy maybe an unplanned pregnancy or something. But hopefully these characters come back again.

Thank-you for Kelsey's story and for not being afraid to go deep and to show how hard that road is. I didn't read through all the comments, but this particular struggle means a lot to me, coming from a church culture that laid in the "selfishness programming" pretty deep. Well-meaning or not, it's been a huge issue for me and a lot of other people keeping us from learning about self-care, self-determination, manipulation, what boundaries are, and so much more. The highest value of fantasy is when it is used to tell us the truth.

I love this story; I laughed myself silly over those two girls and their antics I 'felt' Kelsie's distress over Daniel (I also had a similar, bad marriage), I too found the 'younger' love of my life (who also became the father figure for my daughter).
Both you and your co-author are on my list of authors I follow; I doubt either of you have written any stories I haven't liked. I encourage everyone to check out your list of stories.
I made the mistake of starting this when getting in bed for the night and now it’s 4AM… damn good story! It made laugh out loud and I admit tears were shed as well. Very real characters (Jimmy is maybe a little too good to be true, but it’s forgivable). The situation with Kel’s ex hits real close to home - helps me understand my partner better and what she went through.
I enjoyed this thoroughly! Enough so that I may have been the one crying at the end 🙈

I just loved this story and this world around Pueblo that has been developed by two amazing authors. This story made me laugh and cry and feel such an emotional connection. Oh wow, words fail me. This is a fantastic story. This is an eye leak inducing story that highlights the horror of both physical and mental cruelty perpetrated by some men on vulnerable women. It then offers the beautiful hope that there really is somebody good out there to help a victim turn her life about. In this story several good somebodies.

Beautifully, wonderfully written. The friendship that Kelsie and Em shared, the salty, funny, and REAL dialogue had me hooked...I could not stop reading once I started, except one time. The writing for Kelsie's breakdown and the crushing pain and anguish she felt was masterful and harrowing. I had to take a break as I could FEEL her desperate sadness. Kelsie and Jimmy's story of healing, erotic love...so good. What an absolute gift, offering readers such a high-quality, well-crafted story during this bittersweet holiday season. Many thanks!
