A Fateful Trip Pt. 01

I had planned for weeks for this moment. I entered the sex shop and walked in confidently, my heart racing a million miles an hour. The only person in the store was the cashier, a tall blond woman. She was over 6 feet tall, dressed nicely in a tight white top, tight peach pants and some ankle boots with a medium heel that were in a matching peach color. She waved a nice hello as I walked in, her fingers showing some nice long french-tipped nails. I waved meekly back as I walked to the shoes section.

There were rows and rows of all sorts of colors of shoes with various heel heights. My wife was heading out of town on a work trip so I had a few days that I could wear them around the house before disposing of them and going back to a normal life. I picked up a nice black pair of pumps with a six inch heel and one inch platform when the cashier tapped me on the shoulder. I was startled as she smiled.

"Can I help you with a size?"

"Ummm, size twelve"

She grabbed the shoes and walked into the back, coming out a minute later with a large pink box. "These aren't the same style, but they are the largest shoes we have. Here, try them on." The lid for the shoes came off and inside were a pair of bright pink mules with a tall five inch heel and a short half inch platform. Still wrapped in the new plastic. I noticed on the side they were a size eleven as well. "You can go down a little smaller size with mules and still be able to wear them".

"oh, they aren't for me, they're for my, um, wife".

She looked at me, then bent over and took off her booties, a side zipper made that a quick and easy process for her. She slid the pink platform mules on and walked around, then stopped in front of me, stepped out of them and slid her shoes on again. I noticed that she was a little taller than me in her bare feet.

"I'm tall and I have big feet, and my feet are swimming in those shoes, so you can either try them on for size or buy them and hope they fit. We both know that you're the one wearing them and I promise I won't tell anyone".

So, looking around the shop, I knelt down and took off my shoes and socks, then slipped the heels on and started to walk around the shop, something the cashier encouraged me to do. While I was near the back of the shop, I heard the door open with the bell tinkle. Mortified, I looked over the shelves of adult novelties and magazines to see the far end of the store. A uniformed police officer had entered. He said something to the cashier and they both went into the back. My heart was pounding at that, the adrenaline started rushing. Was I doing something illegal? No, it was still a free country. I was worried that something bad was going to happen when the door opened again.

A tall man with black hair slicked back came in and walked up to the counter. He looked like a slimeball of a person, which really didn't ease my tensions. He stood at the counter, looked over my way and gave a grin and a nod. I smiled back, wondering if anyone could see my feet or shoes. It never occurred to me to just kick them off. Now that two people had seen me, they would definitely notice if I lost five inches in height.

What felt like an eternity, the policeman came out from the back room, nodded to the man at the counter, looked around the store and nodded at me before walking out the door. After that, the cashier came out and talked to the man at the counter. She pointed to a large box which he carried out of the store. Then she walked over to me.

"So, how are they? Are you taking them?"

In all the excitement, I really did enjoy them, so I agreed. I walked to the front of the store and sat down to where my shoes were to see nothing. I looked up to see her popping in some chewing gum.

"Oh, I put your shoes in the box the heels came in. They should be...oh no, Greg took them. He had a large shoe order and must have grabbed that box by mistake with the others." She clopped over to the entrance in her heels as I felt a sinking feeling in my stomach. She poked her head out, then came back in. "I'm so sorry, his pick-up is gone. He works in adult film production and buys clothes and shoes in bulk for sometimes. Don't worry, I know where he's going today."

I bought the shoes, they were the only ones close to fitting. Something I failed to notice when I showed up was how bad the parking lot was. Broken glass and nasty puddles everywhere. I had no choice but to wear the pink heels to my car. I made up my mind to try and get my shoes back. This did give me a perfect excuse to wear heels while driving, and if it was too hard I could always kick them off and drive barefoot.

The cashier finally introduced herself as 'Dee', she was very nice. At first I was reluctant to get the shoes, but as she explained it, he was going to know what happened just by opening a box with large heels and finding mens shoes. Then he was going to remember the only other men in there was me and the officer, so what harm could it really do.

As I drove to the shoot I got a call. My wife had an accident at the airport. She slipped on a wet surface and had broken a leg. She needed me to pick her up at the hospital. I arrived at the shoot right as I was getting off the phone with my wife. The house was there, but no cars, no beat up black pick-up truck, nothing. My wife was waiting for me to pick her up and I was stuck wearing pink heels.
